The most renowned shrines of Shri Annapoorneswari are located at Varanasi and Kancheepuram. It is believed that when these places were severely struck by famine, the divine Goddess eased out the drought, protected the people and brought in prosperity.
Abiding by the requests of the devotees, a beautiful shrine for Lord Yoga Narasimha has been erected. Lord Narasimha is considered as Bakthanugrahaand Shatru Samhara Moorthy, destroyer of all enemies of mankind and fulfiller of the desires of his devotee.
